Ukrzaliznytsia announced the decision to extend the Intercity Kyiv-Lviv train route to the Polish city Przemysl.
December 23, 2016, Ukrzaliznytsia will launch route extension to Przemysl. Approximate travel time on Kiev- Przemysl route is seven hours.
To speed up passing the border, controls will be carried out during the movement of trains on the section between Lviv and state borders.
Jaroslav Dubnevich, Transport committee chairman of Verkhovna Rada said that the ticket price for the Intercity + train between Lviv and Przemysl should not exceed 5 euros.
Earlier route extension was discussed between Participants of the meeting of the transport committee of the Verkhovna Rada and Polish Sejm Infrastructure Commission.
