In the beginning of 2017 citizens and guests of Ukraine will be able to visit Polish city Przemyśl by Intercity train Kiev-Lviv.
It is not reported when exactly the route will be extended, but approximately it could happen in early 2017. Route extension was discussed between Participants of the meeting of the transport committee of the Verkhovna Rada and Polish Sejm Infrastructure Commission.
According to preliminary estimations Kiev – Przemysl train ticket can cost around 1500-2000 UAH depending on the car class.
Ukrzaliznytsia is technically ready to continue the route, however, route extension has to be coordinated with the border and customs services of Ukraine and Poland, as well as with the Polish railway.
