Seats are assigned automatically according to fare type and service class.

The passengers who have entered their contact and passport details correctly will receive an invitation to their email address to check in online 48 hours prior to the departure. Once checked-in, passengers are required to save their e-boarding passes to any portable device or print them out.

Effective October 1, Economy Class passengers of domestic and medium-haul international flights preferring to get their boarding passes from an agent at a check-in counter at origin airport will be charged 10 euro.

“We at UIA adopted passenger handling optimization and automation program, – noted Evgeniya Satska, UIA Corporate Press Secretary. – Digitalization of the UIA handling procedures empowers us to cut expenditures for check-in counters’ maintenance and services of handling staff at our base and off-base airports. The latter opens doors for cutting tickets fares. We hope our clients will soon get used to checking-in online, appreciate our service speed and convenience, and, therefore, spend less time on pre-flight formalities”.
