Low-cost airline company Wizz Air has announced the launch of its flights in the new destination for Kharkiv – to Budapest. The first flight on this route will be performed on June 1, 2020. The flights will be carried out on Mondays and Fridays. The tickets are already available at the website of Kharkiv Airport, the website wizzair.com, and in the airport booking office, which can be reached at 0 800 303 803. The price for a one-way ticket (baggage excluded) starts from 289 UAH (the price is valid at the moment of this publication).
Wizz Air is the largest low-cost airline company in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2018, after a break, the company resumed communication with Kharkiv Airport. Since then, the flights to Vienna (Austria), Dortmund (Germany), Wroclaw, Gdansk, Katowice, and Krakow has been launched.
Kharkiv Airport has been actively extending cooperation with various low-cost airlines. Apart from Wizz Air, the services of Ryanair, SkyUp Airlines, Ernest Airlines, and Buta Airways are available from Kharkiv Airport.
