The TIS-Tourism Innovation Summit (TIS) and the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH) have joined forces to host the PacTS4ALL (Pact for Tourism Skills Forward Alliance) International Conference within the framework of TIS2025, taking place from October 22 to 24 at FIBES – Seville. The event will bring together over 8,000 tourism professionals and executives from across Europe to explore innovative approaches to talent development and skills enhancement.
ITH, a key player in the European PacTS4ALL consortium, ensures that the outcomes of supported projects go beyond theory, transforming research and pilot initiatives into practical, scalable solutions for the tourism sector. This effort strengthens the upskilling and reskilling of Spanish talent while facilitating its integration into the broader European tourism ecosystem.
For its part, TIS2025 reinforces its role as a leading platform for tourism innovation, promoting an inclusive, talent-focused ecosystem that helps businesses and destinations improve competitiveness. By partnering with ITH, TIS2025 emphasizes the importance of training, knowledge exchange, and collaboration as central pillars for the sector’s future.
The PacTS4ALL project, supported by the European Commission, is part of the Pact for Skills for Tourism initiative, which brings together a network of organizations across Europe committed to improving the skills of tourism professionals. The project encourages a unified European approach to tourism training through the sharing of best practices, the creation of National and Regional Skills Partnerships (NRSPs), and a range of parallel events, networking activities, and industry collaborations.
“This partnership between ITH and TIS highlights Spanish best practices as models for the European tourism sector and promotes their adoption across the continent,” said Álvaro Carrillo de Albornoz, Managing Director at ITH. He added, “Hosting the PacTS4ALL International Conference within TIS offers a unique platform for exchanging knowledge, fostering synergies, and forming alliances that enhance competitiveness and talent mobility across Europe.”
Silvia Avilés, Director at TIS, commented: “Having ITH and the PacTS4ALL network on board allows us to place training and talent development at the heart of TIS2025. Seville is set to become the European hub for sharing practical, scalable, and sustainable solutions, helping destinations and companies anticipate challenges and lead the way in digital, responsible, and smarter tourism.”
The conference will showcase Spanish success stories in artificial intelligence, sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and technology-driven talent development. Attendees will gain insights into community-driven tourism training initiatives, skills challenges, and practical solutions, fostering collaboration between public and private sectors and supporting a cohesive, competitive European tourism workforce.
