Ryanair to Stop Service from Kyiv to Stockholm and Nuremberg

Ryanair low-cost airline will stop operating flights from Kyiv to Stockholm Skavsta Airport and Nuremberg Airport after summer flight schedule comes into effect at the end of March 2020.

This is evidenced by updated information in the carrier’s flight booking system, avianews reports.

The last flights on both routes are scheduled for March 27, 2020.

Ryanair’s press service reported that the reason for decreasing the number of flights was the closure of Skavsta and Nuremberg bases because of delays in the delivery of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. Thus, the carrier’s fleet in 2020 will have 10 planes in the summer schedule instead of 20 planned previously.

Ryanair also cut its forecast for the number of carried passengers for 2021 financial year, which will begin on April 1, 2020 and run through March 31, 2021, from 157 million to 156 million.
