PKP Intercity Launches ‘Moje IC’ Loyalty Programme for Rail Passengers

PKP Intercity has launched a new loyalty programme, “Moje IC,” allowing passengers to earn points on train journeys and redeem them for free tickets.

The initiative is designed to reward frequent travellers and simplify the booking experience, with points automatically accrued for tickets purchased through the operator’s official website or mobile app. The number of points earned is directly linked to the value of each booking.

The programme is expected to appeal to a broad range of passengers, including international travellers using Poland’s rail network for connections between major cities or to access airports.

How the system works

Passengers can accumulate points not only through ticket purchases but also via additional bonuses. New users can receive up to 1,000 points through a series of introductory actions:

250 points for registration
250 points for completing their profile
250 points awarded annually before their birthday
250 points each year on the anniversary of joining the programme

Points can then be redeemed toward future trips on PKP Intercity services.

Early sign-up incentives

To encourage adoption, the railway operator is offering a limited-time bonus for early participants. Customers who join the programme before May 22, 2026, and purchase their first ticket will receive a voucher valid for food and напитки in WARS dining cars.

To participate, users must log in via the PKP Intercity app or the e-IC 2.0 platform, accept the programme terms and confirm enrolment.

Boosting rail travel demand

The launch comes as rail operators across Europe increasingly introduce loyalty schemes to retain customers and compete with airlines and low-cost carriers. For travellers planning summer trips between cities such as Krakow, Gdansk and Warsaw, the programme offers a way to reduce future travel costs through accumulated rewards.

As demand for rail travel continues to grow, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe, initiatives like “Moje IC” highlight a shift toward more customer-focused and digitally integrated transport services.
