Kyiv Court Declares Bravo Airways Bankrupt

The Kyiv Economic Court has declared the charter airline Bravo Airways bankrupt and has commenced liquidation proceedings. According to the Supreme Court’s website, the decision was made on May 15, as reported by liga.net.

The bankruptcy case of LLC “Bravo Airways” was initiated in February 2023 following a petition by the State Aviation Service. The company has debts exceeding 4.6 million UAH to the State Aviation Service.

Founded in 2012, Bravo Airways was based at Zhulyany Airport before the full-scale war and operated three aircraft: a Boeing 737-500, a Boeing 737-300, and a McDonnell Douglas 83.

Bravo Airways is owned by Lyubov Orlovska, who was also the founder of the airline “Ukrainian Wings” until 2016.

In November 2023, the court opened bankruptcy proceedings against Ukraine International Airlines (UIA), which was Ukraine’s largest airline before the full-scale Russian invasion, following a lawsuit filed by Ukreximbank.
