A new iL Molino pizzeria is set to open at Kyiv Central Railway Station in mid-February 2026, expanding the food offering for passengers travelling through Ukraine’s busiest rail hub.
The restaurant will be located in the elevated pedestrian passage connecting the Central and Southern railway stations, near the exits to platforms nine and ten. The space will cover 108 square metres and include seating for guests.
The total investment in the project is estimated at approximately 6.5 million Ukrainian hryvnias.
Fast-service format designed for travellers
The Kyiv Central Station location will feature a specially adapted iL Molino format focused on fast and efficient service for passengers on the move.
The core of the menu will centre on pizza offered in three formats:
classic full-size pizza
solo pizza for individual dining
kono pizza, designed for quick, handheld consumption
The concept will be supported by takeaway options, pre-order functionality and travel-friendly packaging, allowing passengers to collect meals quickly before boarding.
Despite the streamlined format, key iL Molino brand dishes will remain available, including lasagna and tiramisu.
Expanding food services at major transport hubs
The opening reflects a broader trend of developing high-quality, recognisable food concepts within major transport infrastructure, catering to growing passenger flows and changing travel habits.
Kyiv Central Railway Station serves as a critical domestic and international rail gateway, and the addition of a dedicated fast-casual dining option is expected to improve the overall passenger experience, particularly for those with limited transfer time.
