The first Embraer 170-LR joined the S7 Airlines air fleet

S7 Airlines announces the acquisition of the first Embraer 170-LR airliner. The aircraft was registered in the air operator certificate and today it performed its first flight from Novosibirsk to Tyumen.

S7 Airlines will be the first operator of this type of aircraft in Russia. Embraer 170-LR is designed to transport 78 passengers in a spacious and comfortable cabin of the economic class. In 2017 another 16 of these aircraft will join the air fleet of the airline under the lease agreement with the GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) leasing company.

The airliner was supplied wearing the renewed livery of S7 Airlines, developed by the British agency Landor. The changed livery is an integral part of the renewed corporate identity. The style of S7 Airlines becomes more concise, which corresponds to the latest trends in graphic design. The primary brand colour is still a bright shade of green, emphasising the unique, progressive and modern character of the airline.

The first Embraer 170-LR will be based at the Novosibirsk airport Tolmachevo and is going to perform flights to Tyumen, Noyabrsk, Gorno-Altaisk, Surgut, Novyy Urengoy and other cities.
