Boryspil Trains Airport Mechanical Equipment Specialists

A practical training session was held for specialists in maintenance, operation and control of the airport technological equipment, machinery and mechanisms at Boryspil International Airport.

The training covered coaching and training on labor protection and fire safety, studying of changes in technical documentation related to mechanical equipment, flight safety standards.

Specialists of the Chief Mechanic Department are responsible for repair, maintenance and management of the airport’s automated system, ventilation and air conditioning, operation of lifting and transporting equipment, as well as household technical equipment e.g. elevators, travellators, escalators; passenger boarding bridges and apron handling machinery.

Theoretical and practical training sessions for the company’s employees are ongoing at Boryspil International Airport. In March 2023, 65 dispatchers of the airport operations and scheduling management department, 350 employees of the airport ground handling department and 290 staff members of the Air terminal complex commenced their training course.
