Forbes Ukraine has ranked the 10 most dynamic craft breweries in the country, highlighting small breweries that are expanding production faster than the overall beer market. In 2024, these breweries increased output by 10 percent—twice the growth rate of Ukraine’s broader beer sector. However, in terms of revenue, they still lag behind large companies. Last year, the total craft beer market reached 1.2 billion UAH, while Carlsberg Ukraine alone earned 12.5 billion UAH.
The ranking includes breweries producing no more than 1 million liters of beer per year, generating over 10 million UAH in revenue in 2024, and growing income by more than 25 percent.
The top 10 craft breweries are:
Drofa, Kherson – Revenue: 12.9 million UAH, Production: 324,500 liters, Sales points: 50
Sho, Mykolaiv – Revenue: 17.4 million UAH, Production: 200,000 liters, Sales points: 630
Redcat, Derhachi, Kharkiv region – Revenue: 11.6 million UAH, Production: 124,000 liters, Sales points: 200
