Ukrainian bakery chain Lviv Croissants has opened its first location in California, marking another milestone in the brand’s international expansion. According to the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers, the new bakery occupies 204 square meters inside Quail Pointe shopping center in Fair Oaks, Sacramento County.
The menu features the chain’s signature croissants with a variety of fillings, along with soups, salads, desserts, and house-roasted coffee. This is Lviv Croissants’ second opening in the United States—the brand launched its first U.S. bakery last year in Georgia.
Founded in Ukraine, the company has rapidly grown both at home and abroad. Today, its network includes 178 bakeries across Ukraine, 11 in Poland, and one each in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. In April 2025, Lviv Croissants also entered the Asian market with its first location in South Korea. Franchise partners opened that bakery with an investment of around $500,000, including $250,000 from local entrepreneurs.
The brand first entered the European market in September 2022 and has continued to expand steadily. With its California debut, Lviv Croissants is positioning itself as a global player in the bakery and casual dining segment while introducing international audiences to a taste of modern Ukrainian café culture.
