A serious fire broke out at the Vlasta Hotel in Lviv on Monday, August 4, following an explosion inside one of the rooms. According to the Lviv City Council, six people have been hospitalized, including one man who sustained severe burns.
All hotel guests and staff were safely evacuated after the fire broke out. Authorities report that the fire spread across approximately 300 square meters but was largely extinguished by emergency crews later in the day.
The exact cause of the explosion remains under investigation. A specialized investigative team is currently working on-site to determine what triggered the blast.
