“Ukraine is interested to become an aviation hub on a way from Asia to Europe,” said Vladimir Omeljan, infrastructure Minister of Ukraine.
“We are very interested to be a hub for Asian airlines, for example, flights from Singapore can land in Kiev or Lviv”, – said the head of the transport department.
In addition, the Minister noted the significant increase in passenger traffic in the Ukrainian airports. In particular, the passenger traffic in airport “Lviv” in the first half of 2016 reached the mark of 282,4 thousand, which is 20% more than last year.
