Europe’s Most Instagrammable Beaches

To inspire holidaymakers who are looking for their next destination, online tour operator weloveholidays has compiled a list of the 20 most Instagrammed beaches across Europe.

When going on holiday, you’ll likely find yourself snapping a few photos of the stunning places you’ve visited. And if you don’t share it on Instagram – did it even happen?

With Google searches for the ‘10 most beautiful beaches in Europe’ up by +300% over the past 12 months, it’s clear travellers cannot wait to explore Europe’s beaches this summer.

Taking the top spot is Positano Beach on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. The crystal-clear waters and neatly placed sun loungers along the beach are popular spots for holiday goers. In fact, over 2.5 million photos of #positano have been shared on Instagram so far. Cinque Terre, also in Italy, follows in second, with 2,479,239 Instagram posts, and the Spanish beach, Sitges, comes third with a whopping one million posts less.

German beaches, such as those on the islands Sylt and Rügen, rank fourth and eighth respectively, whereas the white cliffs in #etretat, France, missed the top 10, ranking 14^th, with just 459,486 Instagram posts.
