RegioJet Launching Connections from Prague to Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, and Kharkiv

Czech carrier RegioJet is launching regular railway connections from Prague to Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, and Kharkiv. These routes will involve transfers in Przemysl, Poland. The journey is carried out with a single ticket.

“We are pleased to be able to offer customers an alternative to cars and buses on such long routes. We are expanding our current offer of Ukrainian destinations to include other large cities located in the central and eastern parts of Ukraine. Passengers will certainly appreciate the opportunity to use sleeping cars throughout the journey, which will provide them with the necessary comfort,” says Jakub Svoboda, director of RegioJet train transport. RegioJet has been passing off its couchette cars as sleepers for a long time.

“For us, every opportunity to get passengers from the road to a comfortable and ecological railway is another step towards our common goal – green transport,” added Svoboda.

The price for a one-way ticket to the farthest destination Zaporizhia starts at 1,679 CZK (70.9 euros) for a seat and 2,179 CZK (90.9 euros) for a bed. Ticket prices to Kharkiv start at 1,639 CZK (69.2 euros) for a seat and 2,139 CZK (89.2 euros) for a bed.

SKPL plans to launch a new train from Poland to Ukraine, Warsaw to Rava-Ruska starting from June 1.
