Etihad Airways will operate seasonal flights between Abu Dhabi and Kraków, marking its second destination in Poland after launching flights to Warsaw in June 2025.
The new Kraków–Abu Dhabi route will operate three times a week — on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, until September 5, offering Polish travelers more direct access to Southeast Asia, Australia, the Maldives, and the Seychelles through the new terminal in Abu Dhabi.
“Our goal is simple: to connect Abu Dhabi to the places people want to go,”
said Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways.
“The addition of Kraków shows our confidence in the Polish market.”

More Destinations, More A321LRs
The Kraków connection is part of Etihad’s aggressive A321LR rollout strategy. Ten modernized jets will enter the fleet by the end of 2025, serving destinations like:
Bangkok, Athens, Milan, Zurich, Paris, Düsseldorf
Copenhagen, Phuket, Medan, Krabi, Riyadh, Tunis, and more
These jets will help Etihad compete globally by offering long-haul comfort on mid-range routes with better fuel efficiency and schedule flexibility.
Poland: A Growing Market for the Gulf Carrier
The surprise announcement comes just weeks after Etihad launched service to Warsaw, where many expected the carrier to focus its expansion. But Kraków’s growing profile as a regional tech, tourism, and business hub has clearly captured Etihad’s attention.
With state-of-the-art cabins, convenient connections via Abu Dhabi, and premium service across all classes, Etihad’s entry into Kraków may reshape expectations for regional travel in Central Europe.
First flight departs June 16, 2026. Bookings expected to open early 2026.
