Russia Drone Attack Causes Fire at Hotel in Mykolaiv

Mykolaiv, a city in southern Ukraine, fell victim to a drone attack launched by Russia early on the morning of April 28. The assault resulted in a fire erupting at the hotel, as Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevich reported via Telegram.

According to initial reports, rescuers swiftly responded to the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze over an area spanning 20 square meters. There were no casualties reported.

However, the impact of the attack was significant. The recreational facility, specifically a hotel building, suffered substantial damage, while neighboring properties were not spared either. Windows at a nearby hotel were shattered, and several vehicles in the vicinity incurred damage as a result of the assault.

Additionally, the assault on Mykolaiv also caused damage to a crucial piece of infrastructure – a heat-generating facility. Authorities are currently assessing the extent of the damage and working to mitigate the consequences of the attack.
